Question by mummaamanda723: Best places to visit in Montana?
I’ve been to Bozeman (about 10 years ago) and want to go to MT w/my husband who’s never been there. He’s a fly-fisherman and wants to fish; I’m pretty much in it to just relax, get away from the kids and enjoy the beauty. We want to stay 3-4 days and don’t have a ton of $ $ . We’ll be traveling (prob by car from Fargo, ND). Any suggestions? Thanks!
Oh, we’re planning on traveling Summer 2008.

Kalispell. It’s a beautiful place, and there’s fishing to be done there. You could probably stay at a Motel 6 or something like that in the area if you’re looking for cheap lodging.

I visited Seeley Lake several years ago and it’s a beautiful area. It’s a small town about an hour or so from Missoula and there’s lots of hiking trails in the area. I think there’s fishing there too. There were a lot of deer there when I was there so if you go, watch out for them when you’re driving.
