Snow Skis

This is a Used 2008-2009 Salomon X-Wing Tornado Ti Shaped Ski with Salomon 12 demo adjustable bindings that adjust from boot size 5-13 so you won’t have to redrill your skis. This skis woodcore and pulse pad technology offer the most stable ride on hard snow and combined with a large width chassis it offers excellent floatation through crud and powder. If you ski everywhere but prefer to own one pair of skis, this ski is for you. The Tornado gives the skier a nice blend of carve or cruise, and does it with mild manners, allowing skiers to relax and enjoy the ride.

Condition

This ski was used in a ski shop demo program. The tops have moderate scratches and scuff marks. Onb the tip there is a broken part missing on the metal tip protector in hte center see photo,ski is very useable.On the topskin there are large chips 1″-4″ ,these are just cosmetic and will affect the performance.on the top there is a name plate that is missing,this was made from a thin peice of metel and would cut your clothing and gloves,so they were removed There is an engraved name and ski length on each ski tail. There is some p-tex that was done well. Otherwise, the bottoms are smooth and in good shape and the edges are straight. I will have them sharpened and waxed before shipping.

The Tornado 3 offers 41 square feet of sleeping space.

The tent’s high side walls, meanwhile, make the Tornado 3 feel roomier than many of its contemporaries, so you can move around freely when settling down for the night. And unlike most three-person tents, the Tornado 3 is outfitted with twin doors. This makes it easy for campers to exit or enter the tent while also providing greater air ventilation throughout the day.

The Tornado 3 is fully water-resistant, with delta panels and a minimum 2,000 PU waterproof coating that keeps rain well away from the tent floor and walls. Add in a bathtub-style floor with its own polyurethane coating and waterproof hot-taped seams and you have a tent that stands up admirably to both drizzles and serious rainstorms. Other details include no-see-um mesh panels on the interior walls for improved ventilation; heavy-duty fiberglass poles for reliability and strength; durable #10 nylon coil zippers on all doors and #8s on all windows; heavy-duty guy points; and a large gear loft for added storage space. The Tornado 3 comes with all the necessary tent pegs, guy lines, and storage sacks for the tent, pegs, and poles.
