The Tradewinds Guide 6 features No-See-Um mesh doors on the extra-large vestibule, for superb ventilation and comfort on humid, buggy evenings. The main tent body uses a special 3-pole configuration making this a very stable tent in windy conditions. We have also incorporated an extremely large free-standing, ridged vestibule which uses Chinook’s unique VestaRidge™ system and a heavy duty, oxford nylon floor for extra protection against wear and tear.The Tradewinds Guide 6 fiberglass pole tent is the ultimate home away from home for families or backpacking groups. Built to sleep up to six people, the tent features a roomy interior with 112 square feet of sleeping space, along with another 80 square feet of VestaRidge vestibule space.

As a result, you’ll have plenty of room to store your gear without sacrificing elbowroom while you snooze. The unique freestanding vestibule also doubles as a covered, screened-in shelter, with additional mesh doors that are more than big enough to fit a picnic table when the mosquitoes drive you inside. And thanks to the tent’s extra-long full-coverage fly–which includes delta panels and a minimum 2,000 PU waterproof coating–the tent body will stay dry even during rainstorms. Other water-resistant features include a bathtub-style floor with its own polyurethane coating and waterproof hot-taped seams throughout.
The Tradewinds Guide 6 is also tough and stable in windy conditions, with heavy-duty fiberglass poles fixed in an ultra-sturdy three-pole design and an extra-heavy-duty oxford nylon floor. And should campers want a little extra privacy during the evening hours, they can drop the detachable inner divider wall, which converts the tent into two rooms–one with a front and rear door and the other with a single main door. Other features include no-see-um screen windows within the doors for added ventilation on “buggy” evenings; two large doors on the fly, one of which doubles as a sun and rain awning; durable #10 nylon coil zippers on all doors and #8s on all windows; heavy-duty guy points; and a large gear loft for added storage space. The Tradewinds Guide 6 comes with all the necessary tent pegs, guy lines, and storage sacks for the tent, pegs, and poles.
