Question by Vampire1719: I’m afraid I won’t make friends in America?
I’m wondering are schools in America really like in the movies? I am sorta shy but i’m easy going..I have really bad self-eestem problems because I have the worst poofy/curly hair! I don’t want to be in a clique or the one the girls pick one.. In my school here everyone is so nice and friendly and they’re aren’t any cliques. I’m moving to either Bozeman,mt or Meuzula,mt or Williamsburg(Virginia). I’m a real people pleaser, and I always feel really ugly.
im not a forenigh actually im from billings montana and north dakota

stop thinking of yourself as ugly!
that’s probably why you have people issues
just remember that there’s always someone worse than you
and no, schools in america aren’t that much like in the movies
don’t worry, you’ll have so much fun :)

Answer by John Doe
Dont worry about it.. Theres some close minded people in montana.. But Its not bad like in you go to school in detroit, and have to worry about getting shot.. As far asanti bullying policies they do exist, but there are bullies at every american school, but i garentee there will be someone better to pick on then you.. Montana dosent have to many foreign people so you might be like a celebrity

Answer by Grim
You will make friends most definitely. And no girls should pick on you , after all there should be an anti-bullying policy . I’ve never truly been to an american school but it should be fine. If your moving to a new neighborhood find someone who goes to that school and you’ll be fine.

Just boost your esteem and don’t keep calling yourself ugly it’s because you don’t have much confidence , and afterall it’s just going to make moving harder.

Answer by Greenberry
i’m not from virginia, but here (in Texas) cliques are really non-existent, if we don’t like a person 9 times out of 10 it’s because of something someone did, not how they look

Very rarely is anything the way they portray it on television and movies, if that’s what you mean. On the other hand, all the stereotypes have a certain basis in fact. A lot depends on the particular school you attend — some are really excited and happy to meet someone new moving in, and some have a few mean girls. Just be yourself, ignore what isn’t good and latch onto the good stuff.

Answer by Gellignite
No they are nothing like what you see in the movies and such. I don’t know where you are from but I seriously doubt people will be mean to you just because you are from somewhere else. There are plenty are foreigners at my school and they are treated just fine. Don’t worry about it. If you are nice to them, they will be nice to you.

Question by thespiansdoitonstage10: How do I deposit money to a Bank of America debit card in Montana?
I am a freshman at Montana State University Bozeman, and I have some checks I need to deposit into my Bank of America debit account. I went onto Bank of America’s website and there are no Banking Centers or ATMs for Bank of America in the entire state of Montana. How can I get these checks deposited into my account without going out-of-state?
Also, I realize that I am capable of cashing these checks at any bank, but I am specifically looking to deposit these checks.

You mail them home to mom and monday open an account at a bank near you.

Answer by Angeleyes
You can mail them to a family member and have that person deposit them to your account. You can also call B of A and speak to a customer service rep. Tell them your dilemma and see what they suggest as the best option. Good Luck.
