Going camping at the Yellowstone canyon in August. Need some answers from those that know.?

We are going on Aug. 14 and will be camping on the east side of yellowstone (canyon). This is our first time to the park. We want to make the most of our 1 day we will be there. At this time of year, what are the places to see bears, wolves, bison, etc. I would prefer specific answers so we can prepare our routes. Also, if we want to drive around most of the figure 8 would we be able to in one day? Thanks!

The best way to give you all the info you need is to link you to the web site. Here it is:http://www.nps.gov/yell
We live close enough to go up twice a year, spring and fall.
There have been a couple of bear shootings, because they were too aggressive and had been raiding campsites.
