Nice. My friend brought deer jerky to school once. It tasted heavenly.

It takes sooo much patience to hunt….

    That is true

Tent? Usually after my blood alcohol level peaks, I end up waking up either by the fire, or (sometimes) on fire! LMAO! Tent? Nah, don’t need it!

Well Jackie, To each his,or her their own. Its just our thing, and I wouldn’t trade those moments for anything in the world. I have great friends who live for those moments and you have your good friends that like your passions, and life is grand for every walk of life. Take care and enjoy.

But I hate wet grass. This combined with mud and dirt and in an uncomfortable tent is not what I want., I prefer luxury. Renting a nice bungalow for a weekend in the woods is fine, but in a tent ? Hell no !

  14. Rockholm66 says:

    Now, that sounds good!

  15. Eaglecreekbrewer says:

All you have to do is give me three weeks notice and what kind you like. And 5 gallons of the best brew you ever had is right at the tap handle.

  16. Rockholm66 says:

I do enjoy rubbing it in.. ha!
    Sorry for my sick humor.

  17. kenbob57 says:

Well now that will be a party instead of a hunt. If that happens all I will hear is a loud ringing in my ears. (a true sign you drank to much the night before.) But a welcome sight. I hope we get to see you guys up here someday.

  18. alpo4664 says:

    AMEN brother!
Just as pictures do little justice for the vastness and beauty, nor can a description to someone that’s never had the pleasure of the wilderness and it’s many offerings……….

PS, I think you and Rock enjoy rubbing it in almost as much as being there! One day you……campers (being as polite as I can given the circumstances) are gonna look up and ct, tree and ol alpo will be pullin into camp! LOL!

  19. kenbob57 says:

Jackie you don’t stay there forever. It is just a good getaway. When you get up in the morning and get the fire going and smell the wood smoke and coffee it is a memory as a kid when your pa took you hunting. In the evenings, you sit by the fire, and there is no traffic noise, no people yapping, just peaceful silence. The only noise you hear is elk. Hooting elk, little long eared elk, yapping elk, howling elk, etc.etc. No triple beers in camp, so you don’t have to worry about being ass raped.

P.S. njbirdhunter3 sounds like a good kid and no offence intended.

  21. jacquelineveronique says:

I just prefer to live in a city than in a tent in the woods

  22. kenbob57 says:

Hey Rock!! njbirdhunter3 just called you an old fart!!! Feels good don’t it. Get used to it. Anyways, Whats the plans for the weekend? Hope to see you and the family this weekend. Supposed to be good weather. Last warm stuff, and then the temp drops, and drops, and…….

  23. 1idahogirl68 says:

  25. Rockholm66 says:
